Portugal have no injury worries and are likely to field the same team as last game. Tomas Rosicky is hoping to regain fitness after missing the Poland match. If he fails to do so Daniel Kolar will replace him in the midfield.

Key Battles - Czech defence v Portugal attack. Ronaldo found the finishing touches against Netherlands and this is going to be a major worry for Czech Republic. Up until the last game he was playing well but spurned a few chances. When he starts playing he is unstoppable, Sivok and Kadlec will not be able to contain him. With Nani running down the right and taking on Limbersky this is another problem for Czechs. Gebre Salassie at right back has been one of the best players in the Czech team, defending well and adding extra outlets with his attacking play. For this match though he will not be able to attack as much as he will be faced with the task of stopping Ronaldo. Portugal are let down in the forward position by a lack of top quality strikers, Helder Postiga is the first choice and isn't top class. If they had an out and out goalscorer Portugal could go a long way in this tournament.

Czech Republic midfield v Portugal Midfield. The Czech midfield will be in a much worse position if Rosicky misses out again. The five man midfield doesn't contain any star names but has functioned well so far. Hubschmann and Plasil will sit again in front of the back four and will try and assist in the battle to contain Ronaldo. Both players give the ball away far too much, they were punished in the Russia defeat but managed to get away with it in the other games. Jiracek and Pilar on the flanks both get up and down well and have both managed to score twice, Pilar has played well creating attacks and going past players. I've been less impressed with Jiracek who tends to get caught in possesion too much. The players must get closer to Baros who has been isolated too much so far. The Portuguese midfield has grown more impressive as the tournament goes on. Meireles, Moutinho and Veloso play well as unit. They have to sit deeper to cover for the attacking wide men Nani and Ronaldo. With Coentrao making runs from left back he adds to the attacking play. Portugal have the advantage in midfield and the Czechs will struggle, especially without Rosicky.

Betting Tips:

1.80 looks a good price for a Portugal win. Czech Republic were battered 4-1 by Russia in the opening game and with Ronaldo stepping up Czechs could be in for another tough game. The lack of top quality in the Czech side will be exposed against the Portugal side who will attack from the start. I think the Czech side will be looking to keep the game tight and nick a goal, but Portugal should be too strong defensively. This will be a tight game and "Both Teams Not to score" at 1.90 is the bet.
