Jerome Boateng returns after suspension but may not return to the team after a goal and a strong perfomance from Bender.Greece likely to start with the same 11 who beat Russia in game 3.

Key Battles - Germany attack v Greece defence. Greece conceded once against Poland and twice against Czech Republic, but they held strong in the final match v Russia. Papadopoulos has been a revelation at the heart of the back four. Brought in after injuries and suspension he has performed admirably.Tzavelas and Torosidis are capable players but not top class, they will have a hard task containing Muller and Podolski. Gomez will spearhead the German attack and will be looking to add to his 3 goals. As already mentioned he comes alive in the final 3rd, he offers little in the way of creation or assisting, but makes up for it with his scoring ability. With Ozil playing behind the attack and Khedira making forward runs Greece will have to defend well. With Karagounis, Katsouranis and Maniatis sitting in front of the back four we are looking at two banks of defenders.

Greece attack v German defence. The Greeks are percieved as unadventurous and dour but they have managed to score in each game so far. The first two goals were scored by subs just after the start of the 2nd half. The third a blockbuster by Karagounis, add to this a missed penalty by the same player and there may be a case for them to at least threaten? I don't think they have any chance. The German central partnership of Badstuber and Hummels has been as good as any. Lahm has had a few unsteady moments, particularly against Portugal but then Salipingidis is no Nani. Bender pressed his claims for right back with a good perfomance against Denmark but Boateng should return. The Greek attack is limited and will be further so by the fact Germany will be attacking for most of the game. Expect Greece to struggle to support Samaras and Gekas.

Betting Tips:

Greece's only hope for success in this match is to hold out for 120 minutes and go through on pens. I cannot see it happening. Germany have been a bit more reserved in the tournament so far and have been criticized back in Germany. But 3 wins from 3 is not a bad return. Germany are very short at 1.37 so looking at other markets "Win to Nil" is massive at 2.10, it will be very difficult for Greece to attack never mind score. The price seems very big to me. Greece may hold out early as they try to keep the game tight, "Time of 1st Goal" 28 minutes and later is 2.10. Worth taking as Greece wont commit much and Germany will be patient.
