Genk has opened their PRO League campaign 0-3-1 and they've only scored three times in that interval. Here they also miss two attacking players with plenty of minutes so far this season. That isn't likely to help on their goal scoring stats. The team simply does not look like the edition that finished ahead of Gent last season.
Gent was the better team against ZW last match day (I saw the game). They looked solid throughout and is a decent football side. They've started 3-1-0 in the PRO League and look to me as if they are going to fight for medals this season. In this interval of games they have also beatend St. Liege away. It must be said St. Liege was playing European Cup football in between that match, but nevertheless; it is strong stuff. Gent themselves miss a couple of players tonight but have a good squad that should be equipped to handle this.
Gent won this fixture 2-1 last season, and I think they can repeat this feat.
