BLACKPOOL - LEICESTER PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Blackpool have their fourth manager of the season in Paul Ince, he has had a bad start with a listless 2-0 away loss to Leeds. Blackpool had a few chances but the superb form of Leeds keeper Paddy Kenny with a number of crucial saves in the first half kept them at bay. Then Leeds took control and dominated for long periods. After losing Holloway, then Appleton and Steve Thompson filling in twice The Tangerines will be hoping for a bit of stability. They sit dangerously close to the drop zone now after a number of sides have turned the corner. Only 5 points seperate them and Wolverhampton, but tellingly there are six teams between them and the drop zone. Such is the compact nature of the division. Blackpool have 10 wins, 10 draws and 13 losses so far and will need to start getting a few wins in to secure safety.

Leicester have had back to back losses at the worst possible time, looking good recently and quite rightly tipped for second after a long run of wins. They have now lost the last three games in all competitions by a scoreline of 2-1. The strange thing is they have not played any side of any great standing. Huddersfield, Charlton and Peterborough are all bottom half sides. Leciester still have time to turn things round though. With two games in hand on all the teams around them they have the ability to get back on track. They sit in 5th with 16 wins, 5 draws and 10 defeats and are 9 points behind Hull in 2nd.  Tottenham starlet Harry Kane has joined The Foxes on loan till the end of the season. The young striker will add further options to the attack.

Really close game this one, two sides going through poor form. Leicester have a very, very good squad and its a mystery why they keep having these mini-blips. Blackpool are a decent collection of players but just do not make a good team. Manager number 4 Paul Ince tells its own story. Leicester should really take this game and the odds of 2.50 are fair enough.
