ARSENAL V MANCHESTER UNITED PREDICTIONS

Arsenal are in the fight for 4^th place and a Champions League spot but can’t afford to drop many points until the end of the year.  Manchester United have clinched the title but are still looking to gain a record points total so won’t be coasting to the end of the season.

Arsenal are 3^rd in the Premiership with 63 points from 34 matches which has them 1 point ahead of Chelsea and 2 ahead of Tottenham but with one game more played.  They have been on a great run recently winning 5 of their last 6 matches and need to win at least 3 of their last 4 to keep a top 4 place.  A win here would make them huge favourites to stay 3^rd.

Manchester United clinched the title last week with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa.  They are 16 points ahead of rivals City and have been dominant in the league this year and totally deserve the title.  Their league form was a little shaky in recent weeks, losing at home to City and drawing with West Ham but they had such a cushion they could afford it.  They are still on for a record points total of 96 points and they seem keen to go for it.

Arsenal are missing Arteta for this match and he could be an important loss.  United are without Vidic, Young, Scholes and Fletcher.
