Huge game at Goodison Park and it’s the visitors who get the nod here. Its all gone wrong for Martinez at Everton and the natives are getting restless. Long gone are the stylish and attacking ways and Everton seem a bit lost at the moment. Form has gone awry and they have 1 win in 10 games (2 draws and 7 losses) They are down to 13^th in League with 21 points, just 4 off the drop zone. Home form which was excellent last year now reads 3 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats. Out for Everton are Howard in goal, Defence loses Distin and Hibbert, with Baines a doubt. Midfield misses Pienaar, Osman, McCarthy and Gibson. City are 25 points ahead of Everton and are joint top of the league. They have an identical record to Chelsea with 14 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses. Same goals scored and conceded. Away form for City shows 7 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat-  best away record in league by a mile. Recent form sees an unbeaten run of 12 games with 11 wins in that time! City must do without Nastasic, Yaya Toure and Aguero – while Dzeko will be tested on the day.

Although City miss Toure they have plenty of backup with a host of internationals waiting to fill in. Everton usually do well against the big boys at home. However something is seriously amiss with them and I fear for the job of Martinez. 1 win in 10 games is an awful run and further losses will equal more boos. I think City will get the job done no worries here.
