EVERTON v MAN CITY TOTAL GOALS BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Everton have a cracking record against Man City and have only lost 1 of the last 12 meetings. They go into this game knowing that the only way they can get 4^th is with 2 wins and Arsenal slipping up twice. They need one win to secure 5^th and with next years Europa League giving a Champions League spot to the winner it’s a competition worth entering. Everton at home have been very strong for the season with 13 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. Recent form has dipped from their lofty standards though with 4 wins and 2 losses. Out for Everton will be Gareth Barry and Kevin Miralles, two big losses in the middle. Both Jagielka and Distin will be tested late on, due to slight injuries. Man City have the title back in their own hands after Chelsea of all teams handed them the initiative with a 2-0 win at Anfield over Liverpool. Away form for them reads 9 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats. Recent form isn’t really the form of Champions but it has been good enough with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. Out for City will be Nastasic and Navas.

Although City are generally free scoring and Everton are too this one for me will be more of a tight affair. Both teams will aim to keep it very tight and I see the odd goal winning it. There is a slight outside chance of a 2-0 or even a 1-1 but I don’t see more than two goals at all. Last 8 games for both sides have produced 25 goals for a high average of 3.13 but half of those games finished under 2.5 goals!  Indeed the last 5 head to head games between Everton and City have produced just 11 goals for a low average of 2.20 goals per game with 4 of the 5 finishing under 2.5 goals.
