Man Cityt have to pick themselves up after the 3-2 loss at Anfield and a win at home to Sunderland will reapply the pressure. City were blown away in the 1^st half at the weekend and looked unusually poor. They did manage to get themselves back into the game though and looked at one point like they were going to nick it. An unlikely mistake by rock Vincent Kompany let Coutinho in to net a vital goal and take the win. Man City though have to carry on as they know Chelsea travel to Liverpool next week. City are in 3^rd with 70 points, just 7 behind Liverpool with 2 games in hand. The majority of those games are at home and winnable so its not the end of the world just yet. City have win 14 and lost 1 of their 15 home games and have a +42 goals difference. Recent from has dipped though with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Out for City here will be Yaya Toure whose season may be over plus Nastasic. Sunderland seem doomed now after looking possible survivors around February. They are rock bottom of the league with just 25 points and even with 2 games in hand they are unlikely to survive. They are 7 points behind Norwich in 4^th bottom. Away form shows 3 wins, 4 draws and 9 defeats but they have not won since mid February in a run that includes 3 draws and 8 losses. Out for them here will be Bardsley, Altidore and Fletcher.
