QPR return to the Premiership via the playoffs and open up with a winnable home tie against Hull. QPR have invested again and brought in a few top quality players. Redknapp has decided hes mainly happy with midfield and attack and has bolstered defence. In come Rio Ferdinand, Mauricio Isla and Steven Caulker. Jordan Mutch arrives too on the cheap from Cardiff. Loic Remy returns from Newcastle and has been deemed fit to play despite his failed medical at Liverpool.  Redknapp has released over half a dozen players and none really made an impact so no loss there. Hull have gone low key in their transfer dealings. They have brought in Tom Ince, Jake Livermore, Andy Robertson, Robert Snodgrass and Harry McGuire. None to really strike fear into the hearts of fellow Prem teams but all competent players and a fair bit of potential also. Hull seem to have lost a bit of quality too, out has gone Abdy Faye, Matt Fryatt, Robert Koren and Shane Long. Steve Bruce got 12 million for Long which is a ridiculous amount of money.  Of the men leaving none really made an impact last year. Faye and Koren spent most of the season injured while Fryatt although a decent striker was mainly used as back up.

Two sides evenly matched by the bookmakers, who struggle to split them. Hull have already played twice this season with a win and a draw to Slovakian side Trencin in Europa League. Hull were atrocious away from home last season and I can see more of that this year.  I think QPR can so well this year. A lot of people are mentioning the fact they finished below Burnley and Leicester and will struggle as those two sides will likely struggle. It sounds mad but QPR are more suited to the Prem, while Leicester and Burnley know how to play the Championship. QPR have a stronger, more able squad then both other promoted sides. I take them to start well against Hull. Draw no bet is my favoured option here with a bit of insurance.

Back QPR at 0  at 1.75 (3/4) with Bet365.
