SWANSEA CITY V STOKE CITY PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Swansea are 9^th in the EPL with 30 points from 22 matches.  They have won 7, drawn 9 and lost 6 while scoring 31 goals and conceding 26.  Their recent form has seen 1 win and 4 draws in their last 5 matches with an aggregate score of 5-4.  2 of the 5 games ended with over 2.5 goals.

Stoke are 10^th in the table with 29 points from 22 matches.  They have won 6, drawn 11 and lost 5 while scoring 21 goals and conceding 24.  Their recent form has seen 1 win, 2 draws and 2 defeats in their last 5 matches with an aggregate score of 6-1.  4 of the 5 games ended with over 2.5 goals.

SWANSEA CITY V STOKE CITY PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Swansea and Stoke are two sides who have again exceeded expectations this season. They were both tipped by many to be in a fight at the bottom but are comfortably midtable and are both aiming for a strong top half finish.  The clubs may play as opposites on the field with Swansea’s short fluid passing game in contrast to Stoke’s more direct approach but both have found a formula that works for them and they deserve credit.

Swansea has no new injury news with only long term absentee Neil Taylor missing.  They will be aiming to get their first win at home in 4 matches after a defeat and back to back draws. 

Stoke will be missing Andy Wilskinson, Rory Delap and Marc Wilson for this match but have a strong enough squad not to miss them and should be basically at full strength.  This will be an enjoyable game between two contrasting styles and we’ll see who comes out on top.

Swansea are favourites due to being the home side but their odds still seem fairly generous to me.  I think they are a quality side and with no injuries to contend with they are a match for any team.
