West Ham suffer back to back losses for the 1^st time of the season but the manner of those defeats will please Sam Allerdyce. They lost 2-0 to Chelsea and 2-1 to Arsenal but gave both top 4 regulars a lot of scares. West Ham are still well placed in 6^th with 31 points from 19 games. Home form shows 6 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses – a record that sees only Chelsea and Man Utd win more at home. Recent form is skewered by the defeats but they still show 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Out for them here will be defender Tomkins will striker Zarate will make preperations for a move to QPR. West Brom lost manager Irvine after a disastrous run. The problem for them is their “hire and fire” mentality. Much akin with continental teams. They have had 8 managers since the turn of the 2010 season and that’s ridiculous.
