TOULOUSE V PSG PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Those two teams met 10 days ago in Coupe de France. The Parisians made a solid game which they won 3-1. The score could even have been worst for Toulouse, considering the number of opportunities both teams had.

After a few weeks being just below the Top 3, Toulouse are back in midtable. They are 10^th of Ligue 1, after 8 wins, 7 draws and 7 losses as well. When playing at home, their record is 5-4-2. They won their last two home games, but it was against weak teams (2-1 over Nancy, and 2-0 over Sochaux).

Ancelotti’s players are back on the first spot after their 1-0 home win against Lille. They couldn’t have been luckier with this result though, as they clearly didn’t deserve to win that one. When playing away from the Parc des Princes, they are still very solid (6-3-1).

Both squads have been modified in the last days of the transfer period. Toulouse’s midfielder Moussa Sissoko signed for Newcastle and Adrien Rabiot joined Toulouse on loan from… Paris. He will not play that game though. The major change is obviously Beckham who joined Ibrahimovic in the French capital. He will not play either, and Ancelotti should keep his confidence in Lucas to start the game instead of Pastore.

Toulouse is one of Paris’ favourite opponents in the league. Paris won the last 7 games they had to play against them (5 in Paris and 2 in Toulouse). Paris is much more efficient when they play against teams leaving some space in the back, and as we saw in Coupe de France, Toulouse is not the most solid team at the moment. I don’t expect them to be more compact, especially now that they are playing home so I would go for another Paris win. Back PSG at 1.88 with 188bet.
