The odds on Leverkusen has dropped considerably. Leverkusen has enjoyed a hefty start to the 2014/2015 campaign domestically, and I suspect that as well as their goal scoring form is the main reason for this. However, on the other side of things; they do let in an awful lot of goals. I've seen every Leverkusen minute so far and I think they can be punished in Europe for their naivity. Here Leverkusen will be without influential midfielder Rolfes and the solid defender Papadopoulos. The young, and excellent attacker Brandt will also sit out. On a brighter note, Bender is fit and ready to resume his work in midfield.

Monaco has not enjoyed the first few games of the season in France, and losing Falcao as well as Rodriguez was a blow to the club. However, they still have plenty of talent at the club in the likes of Moutinho and Ocampos. Veterans like Carvalho, Berbatov and Toulalan should be able to help the younger talents surrounding them on the pitch. For Monaco regular defender Abdennour is out, but they got good replacement ready.

For me, the odds on Monaco are simply too high. I think they will defend reasonably well, and I do think they'll score against a leaking Leverkusen side. I am on the +0.25 handicap, and that is also my betting tip. You may also consider Monaco +0.5 should the odds on Leverkusen continue to drift downwards.
