I am taking Chelsea Draw No Bet at 1.99 against PSG. Mainly as the Parisians struggle to get their fans behind them, and gain any real momentum. Going 2-0 up against Caen, just to see everything fizzle out to 2-2 at home must have seen Laurent Blanc rage in the dressing room. Now they are up against a Chelsea side that will welcome Diego Costa, and most likely also Oscar back.

To make matters worse for the French powerhouse Lucas Moura (starter), Yohan Cabaye (worked his way to the first 11) and Serge Aurier (non starter) are ruled out while Blaise Matuidi (starter), Marquinhos (on the fringes) and Thiago Motta (starter) are doubts. Should Matuidi and Motta both be out the midfield will be rather thin, and young Verratti will shoulder a lot of responsibility.

Run of play

Chelsea mastermind Mourinho has a fantastic squad, he can choose to take the game to PSG. Player for player I am quite sure he could do it. However, having a game at the Bridge to settle the score he is more likely to park the bus and try to play through a weakened PSG midfield on counters. After all the PSG backline is likely to be van der Wiel - Luiz - Silva - Maxwell. You'd rather want to attack such amazing players (especially one on one) if you can create three on two's or two on ones. Also, the Chelsea defense is perhaps not in it's best shape at the moment, so closing the gap between midfield and the defense makes some sense. Up front he can always rely on magic from Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Cuadrado (who isn't cup tied) and Oscar. Plenty of speed and ability there!

PSG will have to respect the quality of Chelsea, but will want to set things straight. They need to get the crowd behind them. I am fairly sure Blanc has spotted that Chelsea's defense isnt the best one. When you got players like Ibrahimovic, Cavani and Lavezzi up front it must be tempting to test the back line time and time again. I would be surprised if PSG would settle for second fiddle here at home at least.
