Qarabag try and seal qualification after a 1-0 win over Valetta in Malta. Qarabag of Azerbaijan will come here as favourites. They have won 2 league titles since the leagues inception in 1992. They have quite successful in European competition with 43 matches in all competitions. They have 17 wins, 9 draws and 17 losses which is a decent record for such a small nation. In recent years they have progressed through the early rounds with ease. Beating teams such as Gefle (Sweden) Wisla Krakow (Poland) and Rosenborg (Norway) Indeed they only tend to lose to the real top sides. They have run close such giants as Club Brugges, Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund. The side is full of the best players of Azerbaijan, a few decent Europeans plus a few Brazilians.Valletta of Malta are a common sit in these earlier rounds. The side from Malta’s capital have played a warm up tournament between their fellow European competitors from the Mediterranean island. Valletta are the most successful side in the country with 22 league titles, including three since 2011. They have a wealth of European experience with 35 Champions league ties. They have won 8, drew 4 and lost 23 Valletta tend to do well in the early rounds but only as they tend to face fellow minnows. Qarabag are so much better than the Maltese. In the 1^st leg in Malta Qarabag were the better side and won 1-0 but deserved more. They missed a penalty in this game too. One of key player for Malta Ryan Camilleri is suspended.

Again we stick with Ladbrokes here who seem to have ricked with double result betting. Odds on the 1x2 are around 1.25 or 1-4 so to find Qarabag 4/5 or 1.80 double result is massive.  Ladbrokes need to be punished for this. Odds should be around 4/7 or 1.57 so they are simply wrong. Qarabag were by far the better side in Malta so should finish the job with ease in Azerbaijan. Maltese sides tend to travel badly and here they have a long way to travel.
