An interesting game in Toulouse as surprise package Hungary take on Belgium. Hungary outdid everyone expectations with a win over Austria and draws with Iceland and Portugal. The 2-0 win over Austria was a fine performance with a good balance of defence and attack. The Austrians proved to be a damp squib in the end though as they finished bottom of the group. A 1-1 draw with Iceland was about right in an end to end affair. While the last game was the best of the group stages for goals with Hungary taking the lead three times against Portugal before ending up with 1 point in a 3-3 draw.  Fiola is still and injury problem and will not likely play here while influential old timer Zoltan Gera has a knock but should be ok. Belgium opened up with a 2-0 loss to Italy and it might have been the best possible start for them! That sounds a crazy statement but they seemed to believe they only needed to turn up to win but the Italians beat them in all areas. Next match saw renewed focus and Belgium duly turned up and trounced Ireland 3-0. Final group match saw a controlled 1-0 win over Sweden in difficult circumstances as the Swedes were chasing a win also.  Moussa Dembele is the only doubt for Belgium.

Hungary have done well but this is where they leave the competition, though they can go with heads held high. They don’t have the firepower to compete with this Belgium team and I see a comfortable win for them here. I take Belgium -0,75 at 1.95 or 19-20 bet365.
