Villarreal beat Leverkusen 2-0 in Spain but the Germans still believe they can overturn the deficit at the BayArena. Villarreal are going well in La Liga and they are 4th with a 5 point lead over Sevilla. They lost to that side 4-2 at the weekend but most sides lose at Sanchez Pijuan. Villarreal will be without Areola, Dos Santos, Costa, Samu and Mussachio. Leverkusen come into this one having won a 1st match in 4 as they beat Hamburg. They are 7th in Bundesliga and have had a mixed season all told. They are without a host of players with Aranguiz, Boenich, Hilbert, Kampl, Bender and Toprak.
Bayer Leverkusen will have to be extra attacking here but they also know an away goal for Villarreal is fatal. I can see a lot of action here and think this tie will swing back and forth. I take goals and am surprised by how high the line is.
