Dnipro progressed to the last 16 with an impressive win over Olympiakos. A win and a draw in the 2 legs was a decent return. The Ukranians go into this one showing mixed form in Europa with 4 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats so far. Home form includes losses to Azerbaijanis Qarabag and Inter. The game will be played in neutral Kiev also due to the troubles. Out for the home side are Kankava, Kravchenko, Matheus and Mazuch. Key man Konoplyanka is not 100% either and him missing will be a huge loss. Ajax’s passage through to this round was much easier as Legia Warsaw offered little resistance. Two wins from two for the Dutchmen who dropped down from Champions League. Ajax will miss Fischer and Leewenburg again and have doubts over Milik, Sigthorsson and Zimling.
Dnipro at a neutral venue was tough for Olympiakos but I believe Ajax will offer more respect and this should set them up better. A few out for the home side too so the +0.25 looks good at 2.09. We get paid on the win while the draw brings half stakes return and half a win.
