There is not many opportunites to back Atletico Madrid at odds over 2.00 against a relegation side in La Liga. Here though we have a “dodgy” match. Granada need a draw to secure their place in La Liga while Atletico secure 3^rd and a place in Champions League group stage with a draw. So the bookmakers and general public have gone apeshit for the draw which is now trading around 11-10 or 2.10!!! – Pinnacle and some bookmakers will not offer a price of the draw also. Granada are in 16^th with 34 points and have made a “great escape” over the last few weeks with 3 consecutive wins. They are 2 points ahead of Eibar and Almeria who are trying to win themselves. Eibar play relegated Cordoba while Almeria host Champions League chasing Valencia and look doomed. One huge factor here is that Almeria are looking to be fined 3 points (and therefore relegated) after CAS published the deduction – an appeal is in place and will not got ahead until after the league has finished! Also Elche and Getafe have been hit with huge tax bills and could face relegation unless they both settle up! So effectively none of the games at the bottom could matter as off field problems could relegate three teams.

Anyway back to this game – Atletico Madrid would be fancied to beat any side outside the top 5 home and away for sure so -0.25 at 2.02 looks a great price. Granada will be fighting for sure but both sides will surely take the draw if its an hour gone and all square. If any side is likely to win its Atletico.  Granada miss key men in Javi Marquez and Ali Bangoura  No problems for Atletico. We get paid on Atletico win and half stakes returned if the draw does come in.
