English Premier League outright winner 2013/2014

Author Ronny Breivik

Please note, this preview is written with Betting in mind. The transfer window is not yet over, and probably a lot of action will still occur. Obviously this will affect the odds on offer, but based on what we know today, here goes.

In terms of the outright winner market Manchester City and Chelsea look good at 3.25 (9/4) with BET365. Manchester United is priced at 5/2 (3.50) and that  price is just too low. They need at least one solid yet modern midfielder in. So far they've tried to land both Thiago and Fabregas without success. Arsenal haven't done enough in the market yet in my opinion, but at 11.00 (10/1) they can be an outsider.

Manchester City has brought in an excellent coach in Pellegrini, and the captures of Jovetic, Negredo, Fernandinho and Navas are just very very strong. Although Tevez was a brilliant player he was also not exactly positive for morale. Shipping him to Juventus was probably a good move. The squad is rock solid, and over a long season I do not see this team dropping many points. They are my personal favorite to win it right now.

Chelsea has Jose Mourinho back. He inherits a very good squad in my opinion, and he has added wisely to it. Schwarzer will be a great second fiddle to Cech. Perica, Van Ginkel, Wallace, Kalas, Bruma and Schurrle are all extremely talented youngsters. Some bigger signings are expected as the Special One has sent a lot of love in the direction of wild boy Wayne Rooney who is stuck up in Manchester United in a seemingly hateful relationship with David Moyes. If Rooney and others cross the Bridge at Stamford the odds are sure to drop. Also, a lot of ex-footballers in Britain seem to have Chelsea favorite. Most of them use the more mature squad argument, and who can disagree?

Arsenal has been trying to sign a top forward without luck yet. Sangoo and Chu-Young Park are good cheap signings so far, but its the English Premier League they will play in now. They'll need time.

The Gunners are still fishing in the waters up at Anfield for the big salmon that is Suarez. Should he join Wenger in the Capitol those odds of 11.00 wont stand long. It could be a good bet for sure win trading this. I doubt the odds will rise much, but they may potentially drop a lot. So get busy trading.
