Tonight's European Championship qualifiers

By admin-alf on September 8, 2015 in Football, Sports

Tonight we will see lots of more European Championship qualifiers, as three groups still have some more matches to play before they take a break until October. Below you can read about two of the more interesting matches, and remember to always check our prediction page for all the latest bet recommendations. This coming weekend the big leagues are back in action, and we will for sure have plenty of new predictions and betting opportunities for you.

England v Switzerland

England beat San Marino as expected on Saturday, and is now guaranteed to qualify for the European Championship with seven wins in seven matches. They are tonight hosting Switzerland, who is second in the group, five points ahead of Estonia. On Saturday Switzerland managed a crucial win at home to Slovenia, they were down 0-2 until the 80th minute and then managed an incredible comeback by scoring three goals before the match was over. Switzerland should be able to qualify, in addition to tonight’s match they have a home match against San Marino and away match against Estonia left. England saved some players against San Marino, while today we could perhaps see players like Walcott, Kane and Sterling back in the starting XI.

Considering that both teams can play relaxed tonight, this match may be more open than the odds suggest, even though we expect England to want to play well at home. If you agree, consider the draw or Switzerland +0.5, at odds 13/5 (3.60) or 41/40 (2.03) with Bet365.

Sweden v Austria

Austria is top of the table with 19 points and 6-1-0, and beat Moldova 1-0 on Saturday. They only need one point tonight to be guaranteed to qualify, but they are probably not worried as they still have a home match against Liechtenstein left to play. Sweden is second in the table, but they lost 1-0 against Russia on Saturday, and are only one point ahead of Russia at the moment. Russia is today playing against Liechtenstein, so Sweden needs to win in order to keep the second place.

The very important Swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimovic got injured in the last match, and he was earlier doubtful for this match. Now it seems like he will play, but whether or not he is fully match fit we have to wait and see. Austria will be a tough opponent, they have played well during this qualification, being especially solid in defence and has a goal difference of 12-2 with four 1-0 victories. It looks like a wide open, and highly interesting, match. If you fancy a bet on Sweden, then Bet365 has top price of 5/4 (2.25). The draw is offered at 23/10 (3.3), while BetVictor is sticking their nose out a bit by offering 11/4 (3.75) on Austria.

Bonuses

Bet365 is offering lots of interesting promotions and bonuses, you can read about some of them in one of our earlier articles. They offer a 100% deposit bonus up to £100  for instance, plus have regularly reload bonuses and other offers.

BetVictor is currently offering a £50 Welcome bonus to new customers, plus they have loads of other offers including cash-out bonus options on the Euro qualifiers.
