First Super Sunday in Premiership sees a London derby match. Arsenal host West Ham in what looks a certain home win. Arsenal took the Community Shield against Chelsea with an organised and clinical display. They have only moved into the transfer market once but have made arguably the best buy. Keeper Petr Cech could actually be the key to the title for them. Only Courtois of Chelsea is a better keeper. Injuries for me are key to how far “The Arse” get to winning the league. Already they are without some key men. Midfielders Rosicky and Wilshire miss out, while Sanchez and Walbeck are not likely to play any part.  Arsenal do have the cover for most of  these players but Sanchez will be missed.  West Ham have had a real calamity of an opening to their season. Gifted a Europa League spot through the Fair Play system they have travelled around Europe kicking several shades of sh*t out of some low grade opponents. 4 red cards in 4 games and losing to the likes of Birkirkara of Malta and drawing with Astra of Romania. They   did beat the mighty Lusitanos of Andorra but only just. So they have to travel to Astra on Thursday with a win or high scoring draw only good enough. New coach Slaven Bilic has decided to prioritise and will use a 2^nd string. However the players that played in the earlier rounds have looked awful and West Ham have been very average indeed. They have brought in some talent though with Ogbonna, Obiang and Payet all decent. Key striker Valencia was strechthered off last week and will miss a few months while Jenkinson isn’t allowed to play. Doubts too over Reid,  O’Brian and Obiang for this one.

West Ham may have a slightly better level of fitness having played 5 competitive matches to Arsenal’s 1 but in nearly all the games they have been poor.  I take Arsenal to put West Ham to the sword, a high margin win looks solid. Arsenal -1.5 is the bet here. We need a 2 goal win for full payout.
