If you would have told me in March one of the inform teams of the moment would be Leicester I would have laughed and laughed. Nigel Pearson has really turned his team around though and survival looks good now after they seemed finished. A run of 5 wins from last 6 has been excellent with some fantastic wins. The only loss was to a motivated Chelsea side and that can only be expected. West Ham, West Brom, Swansea, Newcastle and Burnley were all put to the sword. Leicester are in 16th with 34 points from 35 games. Goals averages for them are 2.66 per game. Southampton are chasing a European place and are just 1 point off Spurs in 6th. Their games usually don’t contain goals and they are rock bottom of the averages with 2.17 goals per game. However in this one it strikes me a cup tie match. Leicester will go for the win. Southampton play good football and are tight but Leicester have a real belief about them at the moment. Their defence is porous though so I do see Saints scoring. Both to score looks the safest bet though for me.
