Not a game for the purists for sure at KingPower Stadium but one of interest in the relegation stakes, even as soon as this.  Leicester has improved on the field with the signings of internationals Yohan Benalaoune, Robert Huth, Christian Fuchs and Shinji Okazaki. They sacked Nigel Pearson after his great escape last year and brought in the underwhelming Claudio Ranieri. Most importantly was Estaban Cambiasso saying goodbye after an excellent season, a huge hole to be filled there. Matt James in midfield is the only absentee. Sunderland escaped the drop themselves and Dick Advocaat gets the credit for that one. As he looked to be moving on he performed an about face and decided to take the reins again. Sunderland have brought in a few solid performers on Coates, Kaboul, Lens and M’vila. Mackems run the rule over three, Brown in defence and attackers Gomez and Fletcher are rated as mild doubts. Games have tended to be very close affairs in recent history.  2 Sunderland wins, 1 Leicester and 3 draws.

Really tough game this one as both sides have made decent acquisitions.  I’m avoiding the match markets and going under 2.5 goals. Tight match on the face of it and one that never seems to feature goals either. With just 8 goals in 6 matches for a very low average of 1.33 goals per game. Under 2.5 goals paying out in 5 of the 6 matches.
