UCL 2^nd legs and its to Northern Ireland we go again to oppose the province of UK. The Irish league is of poor quality in relation to its European neighbours and the continuing poor results back up my arguments. Only of semi-professional status cannot help their cause either. Crusaders are not one of the traditional big guns either. They have just 5 titles and only one in last 20 years was the last years competition. In Europe they have not really done much with just 2 tie qualifications in their history (through Ekranas Lithuania last year and Levadia Estonia this year) although improvement has been made they were destroyed 4-1 in Albania in the 1^st leg.  Crusaders overall record reads 33 games with 3 wins, 7 draws and 23 losses and they have a UEFA club ranking of 357.  Skenderbeu are ranked 219 by UEFA. They have shown improvement of late too and were full value for their 3 goal margin win in Albania. Domestically they have 6 titles but 5 have came in the last 5 years as they have dominated recent Albanian competitions. In Europe they have played 13 games with 5 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats.

Although the tie appears over I don’t think the Albanians will rest on their laurels. A fine tuning will be in order to keep match fitness for the next round and a winnable 3^rd round tie at either Ludogorets or Orhei. I take Skenderbeu to again triumph over the limited Crusaders. Take the -0.25 with bet365, we get paid on the win – while a draw sees half stakes returned. This is my bet of the day in Champions League.
