Hamouma, the player with two goals in five league matches, is suspended. Bahebeck (offensive player signed from PSG in latest transfer window), Dimonade (central midfielder that has not featured regularly in league matches, but played the cup matches), plus Cohade are all injured. Cohade has yet to play in Ligue 1 this season, but when he is match fit he should be a regular starter for the team. Ekotto (regular starter in defence) and Corgnet (regular starter in midfield) are doubtful, but they did train with the team yesterday. St Etienne has a hectic schedule, so it could be that they will be rested for this match. The new arrival Beric will be interesting to see, if he gets to play, as he was very good for Rapid Wien. Overall St Etienne will take the Europa League seriously so they should not rotate their squad too much, but still there are some players that will not play.

Only two players will not be available, Dorsin and Reginussen. I do not expect the coach Ingebrigtsen to rotate the team that much, they are leading the Norwegian league with 11 points and will prioritize this match.

I am betting Rosenborg +0.5 due to the strenght the Norwegians have shown both in their domestic league and in the Euopean matches. Rosenborg has generally been solid in defence and played well in European away matches, they did beat Steaua Bucuresti 3-0 away in the play-off. St Etienne is a bit better than Steaua, but still well behind PSG, Monaco and Lyon in the French league, and they are not necessarily that much better than a highly motivated Rosenborg. St Etienne has not impressed much in Europa League, if you include the qualification matches and group matches in 2014 they have up till now three wins, six draws, and three losses. Their last loss came at home to Targu Mures in the qualification (though they did win the first leg 3-0). It is also rumoured that the stadium will only be half-full tonight, and this should be good for the away team.
