ICELAND V RUSSIA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS
Iceland felt they had a good chance of at least finishing second in their WCQ group but things have not gone quite according to plan. They are currently in 4th place with 6 points from 4 matches, a shock loss to Cyprus could be their undoing. If they had won that gone they would have been in second position but now they are a point behind Norway and even with Albania and it’ll be tough to overtake both nations.
Russia are having a much easier time of it in their qualifying group. They have won all 4 matches and enjoy a 5 point lead over Israel and Portugal who are chasing. Russia have played 3 home games already so they will have tougher games ahead but they have put themselves in the best possible position to qualify.
ICELAND V RUSSIA PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW
Russia are big favourites here and they are certainly the better quality side. They should have more than enough to beat Iceland but will still have to play at a high level to achieve it.
I don’t think Russia will slip up here and will be backing them at 1.42 with 188bet.
