Sevilla v Zaragoza predictions: Some facts

This is the return leg of the Copa del Rey Quarter Final. In the first leg it ended 0-0. These sides have met twice In Sevilla since, and including 2011. Sevilla has won both ties with convincing scorelines. 3-0, and 3-1 is the facit so far. Sevilla was for many years an absolute top team, but last season the decline began, and this season seems to be more sorrow. Reaching the Quarter Final of the Copa del Ray is a welcome event in other words. Form wise Sevilla is slightly on top. Zaragoza has three straight losses in the Primera, while Sevilla is 1-1-1 in their last three.

Sevilla is more or less able to select from their best players. So is Zaragoza, as a handful of players return from suspension. It's really a balanced side in terms of league position. At the same time it is a game between two really different styles. Sevilla tries to play dynamic, fast paced football. Zaragoza is more about hard work and organisation. When things click, both sides are capable of great things, but right not Zaragoza looks really out of it. Perhaps getting some players back will help. 

You can count on Sevilla going forward with great determination, and Zaragoza waiting deep, and compact, hoping to counter in a goal or get something out of set pieces. Sevilla anno 2008-2009-2010 etc would have had little problem converting the superiority on the pitch into goals, but this edition doesn't seem to do so. This even with players such as Negredo available.
