Mens Olympic Football - Spain U23 v Japan U23
We move back to group D for the remaining match between Spain and Japan. The all conquering Spanish team lends a few players to its exciting youth side. Juan Mata and Jordi Alba both scored in the Euro 2012 final and yet both players were happily selected for the olympic squad. Japan will hope to contain them to give themselves a chance to progress from group D.

Spain sit near the top of the betting as current 2nd favourites to win the competition. Group D should be a formality for Spain. Japan are a decent side and are capable of progression. They are better than Morocco and Honduras but may struggle if beaten heavily here.
Key Points - Spain have a really strong team and selected three very good overage players to supplement the squad. All youth teams for Spain replicate the senior side with heavy possesion football, this side will be no different. Japan are another team who play together on a regular basis and this can only help them. They are an erratic team however, capable of destroying a very good Holland side but then losing to Egypt in the next game in a flat match. They kept faith with the players who qualified by only selecting one overage player.
Betting Analysis - Spain should have too much for Japan but from a betting viewpoint this is one game to leave alone.
