Lokeren (13-5-8) remain in fine form with just one loss in fourteen in league and cup. That defeat was against runaway leaders Standard, and a win here would close the gap on visitors Anderlecht, and make a third place finish a real possibility. Anderlecht (16-3-7) have not won in their last four away games, and it is a big reason in them losing their grip on the title. Still third though, just two points off second, home form keeps them in a solid position for Champions league qualification. Key midfielder Persoons, an ever present in the Lokeren side is suspended for this.
