LOKEREN – GENK: PREDICTIONS
Lokeren host Genk in Belgium Pro League, its an enticing fixture played at Daknamstadion.
Lokeren have had an excellent start to the season. Two wins and one draw so far but a superb 3-2 away win on the opening day against league favourites Anderlecht was well deserved. A win at home to Mons was followed by the only real slip in the season. Away to Kortrijk Lokeren were 3-1 up with only 7 minutes left but inexplicably let the home side back into the game by conceding twice.
Genk lost the Supercup to Anderlecht in a very tight game. In the league they opened up with two solid wins, taking the points from Leuven and Oostende. In the 1st game against any decent opposition they crumbled, losing 2-0 at home to Standard Liege. Genk were outclassed on their own turf and decided to take action. With a Belgian record transfer they signed Ilombe Mboyo,the DR Congo striker has a fantastic strike rate of 37 in 80 for Gent and he should be an excellent signing for Genk.
LOKEREN – GENK: BETTING TIPS
I was slightly surprised to see Lokeren clear favourites here. Two sides who have opened the season well meet up by I prefer Genk of the two sides. With the signing of Mboyo who is an absolute goal machine at this level. With a look of Benteke about him Genk will hope he follows a similar path. I take Genk at 0 on Asian handicap at 1.95 (bet365)
