Mechelen(7-7-13) have no wins in four with two draws and two defeats, and sit perilously close to the relegation spots in fourth bottom. Their last home win was against Anderlecht, and a similar level of performance would be required to win this. Lokeren (14-5-8) have lost just once in fifteen in league and cup, and an excellent win at home to Anderlecht last week was a highlight. Up to fifth in the league, a top three finish is not out of reach if they can keep the run going. Ghomsi a regular starting defender is suspended for Mechelen.
