Brazil Serie A returns after a brief break for Confederations Cup. Flamengo host Coritiba at the Estádio Nacional de Brasília.

Flamengo were always going to experience another transitional year as they try and shore the club up. After years of overspending and mismanagement the Rubro-Negro are on an even keel now. However they are struggling to keep  their success hungry fans happy, the fans dream of titles and glory but the side is not capable of such things.
