Sao Paulo suffered a surprise loss at the weekend with a 2-0 home defeat to local rivals Santos. The loss was all the more unexpected as Santos had been in a poor period since the loss of Neymar. Sao Paulo performed awfully, their worst dispay of the season. After six games they sit in midtable with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Bahia dropped down the table slighty after a disappointing home loss to Corinthians. In a game they were always going to struggle in they did not turn up to challenge.  Corinthians have a habit of really controlling the play and Bahia struggled to gain any tempo.
