OB (Odense Boldklub) has started their Super Liga campaign in unbeaten style with 2-4-0. The team performances have catched the eye of National Team Coach Morten Olsen and now forward Rasmus Falk has been picked for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
Odense is a very well organized side that can deny opposition at this level space. This season they’ve also been able to find the balance that allows them to go forward, create chances and even convert.
Over the last three years they’ve fluctuated quite wildly in terms of League position and number of home wins. On average they’ve won 6.33 home games/season in that interval. So far this year they’ve looked sharp and already won twice.
AGF Aarhus has opened their Super Liga campaign pretty well too with 3-1-2 (1-1-1 away). Here they will probably focus on counter attack football, as they will have to respect the results OB has racked up so far.
AGF will be rather confident going into this tie as they beat OB away three times in 2012 in competitive matches. Mate Vatsadze has been out injured a while but he played for AGF in the Cup game that went down in midweek. He could be in contention for some minutes here.
