ARSENAL V CHELSEA: TO QUALIFY PREDICTIONS

Arsenal will host Chelsea in Capital One cup with a  view to rotating but their squad is looking a bit thin at the moment. Arsenal sit top of the Premier League after an unbeaten run of 8 games (7 wins and 1 draw) All this after losing their opening game to Aston Villa. Chelsea are in 2^nd just 2 points behind but they still don’t seem to have found their best side yet. Mourinho is chopping and changing the side but he hasn’t found the best eleven as yet. Worryingly for the rest of the Premiership they are still flying high! Missing for Arsenal are Walcott, Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Arteta in the midfield and Podolski and Sonogo up front. Flamini is a major doubt also. No problems for Chelsea.

This will be a titanic clash for sure but I feel the major squad depth of Chelsea will be the difference. Arsenal simply must rotate for this minor competition but do not have the back up men. Whereas Chelsea can draft in Eto’o, Ba,Willian, De Bruyne and David Luiz. The Gunners will look to Jenkinson, Monreal and Bendtner.
