Birmingham can’t field Kyle Bartley, but should have no injury worries worth mentioning. They have won the Capital One cup before, and surely will be going at Swansea hoping to win. They broke a bad run with a win at the weekend, so confidence is on the up. The question is just if the quality is good enough.
Swansea will be without Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez. Probably a few more players will be rested as Swansea has a very tough schedule with European Football to consider as well. Left back Neil Taylor has recovered from an injury though. He is quite likely to get game time here. Michael Laudrup tasted success last season in the Capital One cup and Swansea is sure to try to go far again.
