BRADFORD V SWANSEA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

The Capital One Cup final sees a shock line-up this season with League Two’s Bradford City taking on the Premiership’s Swansea for the first trophy of the season.

Bradford have shocked English football with their run to the final which has included wins against three Premiership clubs in a row.  They held Wigan to a 0-0 draw and then won on penalties before shocking Arsenal again via penalties.  The semi-final saw a resounding 3-1 win over Aston Villa to book their place in Bradford history.

Swansea decided to rest the majority of their first team last week away to Liverpool and it backfired spectacularly.  A 5-0 defeat ruined all momentum they had and it was the first obvious managerial error from Michael Laudrup this season.  A resounding win here is the only thing that will gloss over it and get Swansea back on track.

Can Bradford push their luck any further?  They have won an astonishing 9 straight penalty shootouts and they’d love to have the chance to make it 10.  Most think time is up for Bradford but they went into the last 3 rounds as big underdogs also so we can’t write them off! 

BRADFORD V SWANSEA PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Swansea are strong favourites here as you would expect.  They gave their starters the week off last week, so they will be fully rested and have had a full week to prepare for this match so nothing will be left to chance.

Bradford fans will enjoy their day at Wembley but I think it’ll be too much for the team.
