BURTON – FULHAM: PREDICTIONS

League 2 Burton welcome Premiership big boys Fulham to Pirelli Stadium in this exciting Capital One Cup match.

Burton have had a strong start to the season with 3 wins and 2 draws from their 1^st five matches. A nice away win at League 1 Sheffield United in Round 1 gave them this plum tie. I can see a full house or as near to it and a good atmosphere, sensing an upset. Michael Symes could earn a recall after scoring as a substitute in Saturday's draw with Bury. Burton will be without injured duo Billy Kee and Zander Diamond.

Fulham have had a low key start to their Premiership season. A 1-0 win at Sunderland was the opener but involved some ultra defensive tactics from Martin Jol. They followed that up with a poor home defeat to Arsenal. Losing 3-1 in another game in which they never really got going. Fulham are without without Maarten Stekelenburg and Kieran Richardson and will likely field a weakened eleven. The likes of Hugo Rodallega could feature here for Fulham.

BURTON – FULHAM: BETTING TIPS

The odds are about right in this game but Fulham should really have too much for Burton. With Jol stating Rodallega will start this game as well as a few others I was straight to the anytime scorers list.
