A cracking tie on the cards here between two sides who were recently seperated by three leagues. Bolton have not started as expected in the Championship but the level of perfomance has improved. Crawley have surged through the leagues with back to back promotions after heavy investment.This is a fascinating tie.

Crawley stormed the English Conference then finished top three in England 1 to find themselves in the third tier of English football. They have started well and have the firepower to win their fair share of games in that division.  Playing a 4-4-2 formation Crawley have made big investments on players and find themselves with a decent squad. Bolton are still finding their feet in the division. After a poor perfomance in their opening game they have steadily improved and showed in the 2-2 draw with Nottm Forest they have the players to finish top 6. They have a massive squad and this should come into play if Owen Coyle decides to rotate the squad a little.

Betting prediction - This should be straightforward for Bolton but a key point is just how well Crawley have done over the past few seasons in cup competitions. Squad wise they have a very good one for League 1 but Bolton have an extremely good championship squad. No selection.
