TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY
Man Utd look to fringe players for this game but a few big names could be involved. Wayne Rooney may make a return after his thigh injury has healed. New signing from Chile Angelo Henriquez could make his long awaited debut too. Youngsters Nick Powell, Alex Buttner and Michael Keane will start while Darren Fletcher's long awaited return after a lengthy spell on the sidelines would be a welcome return.
Alan Pardew is likely to make a raft of changes as he holds little importance to this cup as his side fight on several fronts already. Fringe players will be drafted in and returns for Fabricio Coloccini and Cheick Tiote have been pencilled in as they recuperate from injury. Rob Elliot will start in goal but Pardew has names a full initial squad but is highly unlikely to include most of his first eleven.

Alex Ferguson and Alan Pardew both tend to shun the competition but United have the better players available and will be roared on by a full house at Old Trafford.
