Klopp gets another chance to break his Kop hoodoo and grab his 1st win. Its League Cup time and under fire Bournemouth arrive at Anfield. Liverpool are 9th in the league with 14 points from 10 games. They have a troubling tendency to draw matches at the moment with 8 of the last 9 games finishing all square (all 8 games ending under 2.5 goals also) They are on a 9 game unbeaten stretch though so its not that bad. Liverpool have Firminho and Benteke back from injury but James Milner is suspended and the captain will be missed. Bournemouth may see this as an unwanted fixture as they now know they face a relegation battle. They are 17th with 8 points and have not won in three games. Tommy Elphick, Callum Wilson, Tyrone Mings and Max Gradel all miss out while a few players are carrying knocks from the 5-1 loss to Spurs.
All the games on Tuesday were tight affairs and I feel Liverpool again could look to winning here without much risks. They have not exactly set the league alight just yet. With only 1 game from last 10 going over 2.50 goals. Bournemouth are more open but I believe they will compete only and under 2.50 goals look good.
