Man City come into this game on a bit of a low after a chasing by Barcelona at Etihad Stadium. City were expected to challenge the Spanish giants but it wasn’t to be. Im sure that Pellegrini will target go into this game on a mixed run as they have lost to Chelsea and drew with Norwich recently. Missing here today will be Nastasic at the back. There are a few selection headaches for the team with keeper Pantillimon the usual cup keeper but Joe Hart has been inform of late. Aguero will likely take a starting spot with Negredo or Dzeko vying to start. Sunderland make the final amid a relegation league battle. Gus Poyet has worked miracles to salvage the Di Canio disaster and Sunderland are in much better shape. A great recent run has seen 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. They are in this final and also quarter finals of FA Cup. Out here for Mackems are keeper Westwood and the cuptied Bridcutt.
This looks a certain City win here and I don’t see how Sunderland can match them. The only hope for Poyet for me is to park the bus like Wigan did last year. If they do this they will have 90 minutes if defending and I have no hope for them. I take a win for City by a few goals.
