Any team managed by Ian Holloway is always worth opposing in any cup competition. He is a regular hater of cups and does his utmost to lose. Here against Southampton he has already indicated he will rest a lot of regulars. Millwall have started really well with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. That form cant be taken into this match though. Youngsters Jack Powell, Aiden O'Brien, John Marquis, Fred Onyedinma and Jake Goodman could also be involved as Holloway rests a number of the team. Southampton have started well under Koeman, despite losing almost half the team in a summer sale. Here he has stated he doesn’t wish to make changes as he wants his team to gel. He has a full squad at his disposal.
Odds are shortening all the time here as news of Holloway’s selection hits the public domain. I would have liked Southampton against a full strength Millwall but the missing men here mean the odds are huge.
