Tranmere’s difficult start to the season continues with the visit of Nottingham Forest. Tranmere are in League 2 now and have a fair squad for that division but not much depth at this point. A 1-1 home draw was lucky for them with a late equalizer. Influential skipper Marcus Holness will miss out injured. Nottingham Forest opened up with a win against Blackpool, taking a 2-0 victory.  Stuart Pearce will rotate for this one but he does have real quality (at this level anyway) on the bench. Jack Hobbs = could start in central defence while full-back Eric Lichaj is available. As are Midfielders Henri Lansbury and David Vaughan. Gregg Halford is suspended while Blackstock and Wilson are injured.  Chris Cohen is fit but may be rested after returning from a long injury break.

Big difference in quality between these two sides. Tranmere are around midtable in League 2 whilst Nottingham Forest are on the fringes of a playoff chase. The odds are great here on Nottingham Forest who should have few problems in this game. My bet of the day here on an away win.
