Tranmere is going to miss a couple of very experienced players in Ian Goodison and Jason Koumas. Captain James Wallace has had a setback injury wise and will still be out. Also Andy Robinson and Jake Kirby will sit out. It looks like Tranmere has their eyes on League One this season; otherwise I am sure at least Goodison would be included.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes has impressed me so far. He really has improved this Stoke side! The side is still physical, but they’ve added a genuine touch of silk to it. Here Hughes has said he will rotate his squad. Erik Pieters and Asmir Bergovic are definitely sitting out. So is Charlie Adam who is going to have hip surgery.
