West ham will still miss Downing, Cole and Carroll. Sam Allardyce is also expeted to make quite a few changes to his side for this Capital One cup game. West ham beat Cardiff 2-0 on the first match day of the Premier League, so they’ll be confident they can teach the Welsh another lesson here.
Cardiff manager Mackay has warned West ham they now are a much improved side compared to the one who lost in the premiership. Also Cardiff is expected to rotate the eleven quite a bit. Nicky Maynard, Mark Hudson, Joe Lewis, Don Cowie, Jordan Mutch, Craig Noone and Peter Odemwingie are all likely to play.
