Barnsley are still in terrible form, with 8 losses in 12 matches now. They have only one win in that time. The side is a very limited one, although it does contain a few promising attacking players the defence is poor and the midfield offers little. Barnsley are not expected to survive the drop this year and although they may pick up the odd win they will be losing a lot of games between now and the season end.
Blackburn are in total disarray at the moment, with only 1 win in 10 now the Henning Berg experiment has been a disaster. Steve Kean was bad enough but at least the results were coming in dribs and drabs. Berg's lack of experiance at this level like Solbakken at Wolves should not be underestimated. Berg's sacking 10 games into a three year reign came as no surprise to me and the team cannot flourish under this ownership. At the moment the team needs to pick itself up as they have not covered themselves in glory either. With a full squad to choose from this side should be in the playoff zone not looking towards relegation.
