Barnsley’s terrible run of form continues, with one win in fourteen games now (10 defeats!)However they gave a very good perfomance last time out with a fighting 1-0 home FA Cup win over Burnley. After the unfortunate sacking of the respected Keith Hill Barnsley have been scouring the UK for a new man. The other big news is the departure of top scorer Craig Davies. A massive blow for the Tykes, as he was their leading scorer and a key allround player. Scott Wiseman is likely to leave for Blackpool as the wafer thin squad continues to shrink.
Leeds up and down season continues, they are winning and losing in equal measure and cannot seem to string a decent run together. That they still find themselves in 8th position despite 10 losses already shows how tight the league is. Moves have taken place in the transfer market already with Andy Gray and Jerome Thomas departing the club. Thomas in particular will be missed as he has been a star performer since his loan began. Incoming at Leeds are Ryan Hall and loanee Michael Tonge has been signed on a permanent transfer.
