Barnsley pulled themselves out of the relegation zone with another deserved win, this time against high flying Brighton in midweek. After a barren run of four games without a win they got back on track with a great win. Barnsley are two points above the drop zone now and they also have a vital game in hand on the three teams below them. With 11 wins, 8 draws and 7 losses they know that everything is in their hands.

Watford lost at home to Blackpool in a huge upset that might be fatal to their automatic promotion hopes. Watford had not lost for eight games and were looking good for the top two. Watford are one of the best sides in the division but are capable of the odd blip as the Blackpool home loss showed us. Watford have no new injury worries and with a deep squad of players have several options if Zola wants to switch.
